With the agreement signed between Siirt University and the Postal Telegram Organization (PTT), this department, which started to receive students in 2013, was established in order to meet the needs of PTT's distributor (postman) and to provide its services in the best possible way.

            The rapid changes and developments experienced in the postal services sector increase the demand for qualified staff members every passing day. Therefore, in order to respond to the needs of the sector, there is a need for intermediary personnel to train qualified personnel in accordance with postal services and to ensure that the trained personnel are employed in the sector. Our main goal is to educate our students as qualified employees equipped with basic, sectoral and legal knowledge. It is aimed that graduates of the program will serve as high communication skills, full self-confidence, entrepreneurial and innovative, following up-to-date developments experienced in national and international platforms related to the sector in which they will work. It is also aimed to increase the efficiency and efficiency of job opportunities and vocational training in technical fields, in particular discipline, and to establish a system for harmonizing the labor market with the needs of the labor market.

           Considering the future of the profession, with the development of international business activities, PTT Services and logistics activities have become one of the important factors affecting business success. The breadth and continuity of the PTT and logistics industry show that the need for qualified staff trained in this area will continue. All of these departments can be assigned to the PTT General Directorate and provincial organizations by KPSS.
