Definition of the program
The postal services program is provided with two years of education and training. This section, which is opened by Post Telegraph Organization (PTT) in the name of Posta Hizmetleri at Siirt University Kurtalan Vocational High School and also at Vocational Schools of other universities, is a program aiming to meet the Postal Telegraph Organization (PTT) needs of Postman.
Definition of Occupational Staff
According to the achievement score obtained by KPSS as the theoretical and practical education and training that he gained in the postal services department, he can work as a distributor in PTT or can work with cargo companies other than PTT. Even if he does not want to be satisfied with this, he can establish and operate a courier or cargo company with the information provided from this department in order not to act contrary to the ethical rules.
History of the program
With the agreement signed between Siirt University and the Postal Telegraph Organization (PTT), this department started to accept students in 2013 and was established in order to meet the needs of POSTACI and to enable its services to be performed in the best way.2014-2015 Postal Services in Education Second Instruction) Program has been opened and student acquisition has started.
Programa acceptance conditions
Students who are under the Accounting Department of the trade vocational high schools are placed DIRECTLY in our pre-undergraduate program as TEST.
Occupational high school graduates from departments other than those designated for the transition without examination or those who graduated from general high school will be placed according to their wishes and ÖSS scores if they have open quota at the end of the examination without any examination. For this reason, these persons must take the ÖSYM Student Selection Examination (ÖSS) and get enough YGS 5 points.
Graduation Requirements
Graduation Requirements for the Postal Services program field is based on the following conditions: It is obligatory to complete all the courses required for graduation within the periods specified in the related regulation, to complete the program that is continuing with the courses taken, to complete the program with a weighted average grade of at least 60 and 30 working days internship.
